Chick-fil-A Satellite Strategy

The purpose of this project was to develop an initial strategy to understand the impact of and surface design considerations for Chick-fil-A’s first workplace expansion off-campus and into Atlanta. The findings are the result of multiple research methods, centered on discovering organizational and behavioral needs of Chick-fil-A’s Digital Transformation team.

In order to create a strategy based on understanding, a research plan was designed to engage over 300 DTT employees over a three months through multiple mediums. including leadership sessions, a survey, focus groups, and observation.

Survey

A custom survey asked 300 employees to evaluate their overall workplace experience to summarize thoughts towards the current workplace experience, as well as insight into the types of changes they would like to see in their future workplace.

Focus Groups

Two focus groups were held in person with a diverse mix of roles, experience, and demographics were called together to participate. The focus groups were themed around informing and visioning a satellite workspace for Chick-fil-A in Midtown Atlanta.

Leadership Sessions

Interactive workshops with key decision-makers helped establish drivers for change, measures for success, and framed what needed to be explored further with employees.
